Sponsorship activities
As a youth association, Jong Nederland de Fakkel is largely dependent on municipal subsidies and income from sponsorship campaigns. Below you can read the most important initiatives that we have set up as an association.
Our sponsors
Several companies and institutions have indicated that they want to sponsor Jong Nederland de Fakkel. This can be done by donating a sum of money, but also by providing free materials when we go to summer camp, for example. Do you want to know which organizations will support our club in 2025? Flea market
Every year, Jong Nederland de Fakkel organizes a flea market on the grounds of the Philipshuis in Eindhoven-Noord. The flea market has free admission and usually takes place on the Sunday at the end of the May holiday from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. We sell a wide variety of items: from books and clothing to toys and art and from household items and TVs to shoes and bags. Want to know more about our next flea market? Grote Clubactie
Every year Jong Nederland de Fakkel participates in the Grote Clubactie! Our members and staff members go door to door and ask family and friends to support them by buying one or more tickets. Anyone who buys a ticket has a chance to win some great prizes and we as an association use the proceeds from the ticket sales to organize fun activities. The children also receive a nice bit of extra money if they sell tickets themselves. Last year the proceeds for us amounted to more than €5000. Will you support us (again) next time?
Sponsorkliks
Sponsorkliks is a system that allows you to sponsor us for free, simply by making your online purchases in the web shops that you are used to using. Suppose you want to order shoes from a well-known web shop. The shoes cost €80. If you go directly to the website, we will of course receive nothing. However, if you go to the website of the web shop via the Sponsorkliks website, the shop owner will deposit a small percentage of the purchase amount into our account. The purchase price remains the same, but the shop owner simply accepts a little less profit than normal. The shoes will therefore continue to cost €80 and we will receive a small amount. It will cost you about 15 seconds more per purchase, that's all. There are literally hundreds of web shops that participate in this system. Collection of frying fat/oil
Since the autumn of 2023, we also collect old frying fat and oil. There are two bright yellow waste containers on the grounds of the Philipshuis where you can leave old frying fat and frying oil. When the containers are full, they are emptied and we receive a nice amount in exchange for the contents. Super simple and for a good cause! Please note: it is important that you hand in the fat and oil in a well-sealed package!
