Flea market
Every year, Jong Nederland de Fakkel organizes a flea market during the May holiday. Read all about it here! Do you want to register as a helper at the flea market? You can do that here!
Sunday May 3, 2026, 1:00 PM
On this date our next flea market will take place. We will do everything we can to make it a great edition again. Will you help us to generate as much income as possible for our association? You can help us by bringing items for sale, by coming to the market on the day itself as a customer to buy the nicest items or by coming to help as a volunteer in a market stall! Please note: we do not rent out stalls to third parties!

Bringing stuff
In order to offer our visitors a varied range of products at the flea market every year, Jong Nederland de Fakkel collects items that we can sell at the market throughout the year. You can bring items on any Friday evening that does not fall during a school holiday, from 8:00 PM. The condition is that the items must fit in a banana box. Please note: we refuse furniture (large and small), white goods, computers and waste. On the Friday and Saturday before the flea market you can also bring items to us: on Friday from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 AM. In doing so, you provide income for our association and our members and volunteers are very grateful for that.
Visiting the market
Every year, our flea market is organized on our own terrain. The flea market has free admission and takes place almost every year on the Sunday at the end of the May vacation from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. We sell many different items: from books and clothing to toys and art and from household items and TVs to shoes and bags. For this, we collect items throughout the year that we can sell at this flea market.

Help as a volunteer
Our flea markets are a great success every year, but this success can only continue with sufficient helping hands before, on and after the day of the flea market. The large-scale preparations always start on the Thursday before the flea market: then the entire building is prepared and furnished to receive hundreds of visitors on Sunday. On Friday, people bring items for sale and these items have to be sorted. A lot of help is always needed for this! On Saturday, a lot of items still have to be sorted. The real massive need for help is of course on Sunday itself. Many flea markets with a record yield in our history had one thing in common: there were more than 100 people to help. Would you also like to help voluntarily? You can register by filling in this form.
